Steel Boned Steampunk Retro Brocade and Leather Overbust Corset with Jacket and Belt

Giving 4 stars, because this runs small. I am 5’3” and 142 lbs. I normally wear a medium in tops, but I ordered a large, knowing that this is a zip front corset. However, the large didn’t even fit around my torso. I really like the quality and look of the corset, especially the long strings in the back to tighten or loosen it, as needed. I returned it for a larger size and am waiting for it to arrive. I decided to go up 2 sizes to an XXL, so I hope it fits!

I was worried about ordering a Bustier online but this was a pleasant surprise. It is a very pretty fabric and the boning is high quality. Mind you, this was a steampunk costume. It was perfect for the job!

The corset fit well and was easily adjustable. However, the shoulder piece was much too small for nearly anyone. A girl would have to have some pretty skinny arms to fit into that, but then the corset probably wouldn't fit her. I'm going to see what kind of alternatives I can find.

Great for a Harry Potter Halloween party.

I bought this corset to use as a Halloween costume. It looks amazing, and I got lots of compliments. The corset fit exactly right per the measurements that were provided in the product picture. The decorative belt also fit well and added extra style. It also had a pocket which perfectly held my phone. My only complaints are about the bolero top. The arm holes are too small, so its tight and uncomfortable. It looks really good and completes the look, so I dealt with the discomfort. There is A LOT of additional lacing in the back. I messed with it for a little while to see if I could remove some of the excess, but it was too complicated and I didn't want to ruin how it looks. For the money, this was totally worth it, and I have zero regrets on the purchase.
